We understand that from time to time employers need an extra resource to enable them to deal with the issues which crop up with staff. While the focus of running a business has to be the bottom line, people management is vital – your employees are one of your most valuable assets and employees who are engaged and motivated will contribute to a healthy business. To free up time for managers, we offer a range of services. These include:
- Drafting contracts of employment and policies and procedures
- Advising on recruitment practices
- Providing regular newsletters on developments in this fast paced field
- Providing training to managers and supervisors
- Advising on disciplinary and grievance issues

- Representation before employment tribunals

Services for Solicitors
We also understand that solicitors can sometimes be uncomfortable about advising clients on employment law, whether that advice is for an individual who walks through the door of your practice, or an organisation looking to you for advice on how to deal with a disciplinary issue or terminate employment. It can also of course include advice on how to deal with your own staff issues.
We are pleased to offer a service to solicitors in relation to a variety of employment issues.
Some of the services we provide include:
- Drafting contracts of employment and Policies and Procedures
- Advising on grievance and disciplinary issues, absence problems and redundancies
- Drafting compromise agreements, and advising on these
- Employment Tribunal representation where required
Whilst the majority of our work is acting for employers, we also act for employees in limited cases. This is typically in connection with Compromise Agreements or where senior employees/executives are negotiating severance terms.
