We understand that health and safety is important to every organisation.

· Compliance: At TC Young we aim to provide practical and strategic advice on compliance with health and safety legislation including the Health and Safety at Work Act, ‘6 pack’ Regulations, the Corporate Homicide Act and the Working Time Regulations.

· Employers obligations: We advise on the employer’s obligation to provide a safe working environment and safe system of work, including risk assessments, disability adjustments and accident reporting; sickness absence, driving and transport; lone working; work related stress and violence at work.

· Claims: We are experienced in defending and preparing defences against all types of health and safety claims.

· Development Agreements: We have negotiated Development Agreements for clients, ensuring that the risk of health and safety matters is undertaken by the contractor in relation to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM). We can also guide you through the contractual requirements arising from the CDM regulations.

· Training: Our emphasis is on prevention and we regularly provide training to staff and committee members on best practice and risk management procedures, training which may help to prevent such claims ever arising.
