What we do

The Graham Trust

The Graham Trust is a Scottish Charitable Trust (SC038269) established in 2008 for the purpose of distributing the Trust Funds, capital and revenue, in such proportions and at such time as the Trustees in their sole discretion shall deem expedient amongst such charitable institutions in Scotland or based elsewhere in the United Kingdom as the Trustees may select and/or any charitable cause which the Trustees shall deem particularly worthy of support.

The Trust is administered by T C Young.  Organisations registered with The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) or with the Charity Commission may apply. The Trustees will consider applications from charities based and working in Scotland or based elsewhere in the United Kingdom with projects in Scotland or charities based anywhere in the UK supporting projects outwith the UK.

The Trust will support a range of charitable causes including the saving of lives; the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science; the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage;  the prevention or relief of poverty; and the advancement of animal welfare.

The Trustees will meet annually to consider applications and agree distributions.  The next meeting will take place around end of October 2010.

To apply for funds from the Trust please contact Mrs Carol Anne Millar at T C Young - cam@tcyoung.co.uk.
