Jewellery Night
T C Young's Private Client and Family Law department recently held a very enjoyable jewellery evening for a number of clients and friends. The evening was arranged in conjunction with auctioneers Lyon and Turnbull, who very kindly provided some stunning pieces from their forthcoming Fine Jewellery and Silver auction for the ladies to drool over! Emma McMillan, a gemologist and head of Lyon and Turnbull's Jewellery and Watches Department, gave a fascinating talk on the historical background of some of the pieces...not forgetting the all important values! There was also the opportunity to try on some of the pieces, which was extremely popular with the ladies - after all, it's not every day that you get to have a £60,000 diamond on your finger! For those with slightly less expensive tastes, there were also some more affordable (and tempting!) pieces...a few of our guests may well be making an appearance at the auction on 2nd December in Edinburgh! All in all, the evening was a huge success and we hope that it will prove to be the first of many.
