The Scottish Government has announced that the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 will be extended to apply to Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) from November this year. We will look at the terms of the legislation and discuss what RSLs should do in preparation, as well as discussing some relevant case study examples.
Who should attend?
This session will be relevant for housing staff who will be tasked with responding to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests as well as senior management who wish to have an informed oversight into how to comply. This course will provide practical guidance on the requirements of the legislation.
