George Scott is an associate in the property department with over 30 years of experience providing legal services to clients.
He has specialised in all aspects of property law for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to clients buying, selling or renting properties. He deals with all aspects of the conveyancing process; from initial contact to completion and regularly liaises with mortgage lenders and financial advisers. George works closely with ESPC to ensure maximum exposure of properties for sale, giving clients the best opportunity to find buyers for their homes.
In addition, he also handles all aspects of private and commercial leasing both for landlords and tenants.
George also provides valuable and professional advice to clients in the preparation of their wills and dealing with a deceased person’s estate. Distribution of an estate can be a very stressful and difficult time for families and he deals with these matters in a sensitive and efficient manner. George can assist through the whole process; from registering the death, arranging the funeral, valuing the estate, obtaining confirmation from the court, attending to inheritance tax liability and thereafter to distributing the estate.
He brings a friendly and approachable approach to clients’ affairs dispelling any concerns they might have arising from unfamiliarity with legal protocol or terminology, and develops strong ongoing relationships.
