TC Young has been shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year at the 2026 Herald Law Awards of Scotland, recognising the firm’s continued growth, specialist expertise and investment in its people.
The firm has been shortlisted in the Law Firm of the Year – Up to 150 Practising Certificates category, sponsored by IDEX Consulting. The award recognises firms demonstrating strong performance, strategic vision, legal expertise, investment in their people and a commitment to equality and diversity.
The recognition comes after a year of continued progress for TC Young, with the firm strengthening its position across its specialist areas while continuing to develop its wider range of legal services.
TC Young remains a leading name in Scottish social housing, acting for 112 of Scotland’s 135 Registered Social Landlords, while its teams across Private Client, Dispute Resolution, Family, Residential Conveyancing and Adults with Incapacity have also continued to grow and develop.
The firm has also continued to invest in its people and working environment. This year saw the Edinburgh team move from its long-standing George Street office to a new workspace at 2 Castle Terrace, providing greater capacity and a modern environment designed to support the team’s continued growth.

The winners will be announced at the Herald Legal Awards 2026, taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on 12 November.
