Craig is a Senior Associate at TC Young within the property team in Edinburgh, specialising in commercial property and development work. He has developed a wide range of expertise in property transactions, with particular emphasis on commercial leasing and business acquisitions and disposals across a range of sectors, including healthcare, industrial and the hospitality industry.
An experienced conveyancer, Craig advises property developers and registered social landlords across Scotland from the site acquisition stage onwards, drafting bespoke agreements dealing with title conditions, construction and planning implications and development funding requirements, frequently reporting to clients on range of complex title and site assembly issues, in a clear and concise manner.
Craig has significant experience in the refinancing and restructuring of large commercial and residential property portfolios. He acts on behalf of charities and other third sector organisations, rural landowners and business owners ranging from SMEs to national retailers.
Craig is a trustee for three Fife based registered charities, including a children’s clothing bank and deals with a range of operational, asset management and governance requirements for those organisations.
