Heather McIntyre is a Solicitor in our Dispute Resolution team and joined the firm in July 2026. Heather is based in our Edinburgh office and advises individuals and businesses on a broad range of contentious matters.
Heather obtained her LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh before commencing her traineeship in 2024. Heather has gained experience across a wide range of civil and commercial disputes, advising and representing clients in matters including property disputes, debt recovery, contractual claims, and executry-related disputes.
Heather has experience appearing in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and is able to advise clients on court procedures, the progress of litigation, and what to expect at each stage of the process. Committed to making the litigation process as straightforward as possible, Heather focuses on providing clear, practical advice to help clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Since joining TC Young as a newly qualified solicitor, Heather has built upon her experience in civil litigation. She is committed to helping clients navigate disputes effectively, providing clear, practical advice, and working to achieve effective and commercially sensible outcomes.
Heather is a member of the Law Society of Scotland.
