Lewis Marchand is currently a Trainee Solicitor at TC Young. He initially began his training in the residential conveyancing department, where he gained valuable experience in property transactions and related legal matters. Lewis has since transitioned to the litigation team, further broadening his expertise.
Lewis completed his undergraduate law degree (LLB) at the University of Strathclyde in 2022. Following this, he pursued and obtained his Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow in 2024, equipping him with the practical skills required for a successful legal career.
In his current position within the litigation team, Lewis provides support on a range of tenancy queries and housing disputes. His work includes issues related to Registered Social Landlord eviction grounds, as well as the preparation and service of Notices of Proceedings.
Lewis is also involved in matters concerning Short Scottish Secure Tenancies, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders, succession and the condition of property, ensuring that clients receive guidance on these complex issues.
