Bio
Russell Ewing is a Trainee Solicitor in our Litigation team, having previously worked within the Residential Conveyancing team. He attended the University of Glasgow, where he obtained his Law Degree in 2024 and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2025.
Before commencing his traineeship, Russell gained experience across a number of legal settings, including criminal law, personal injury disputes and commercial property. He also worked as an Admin Assistant within our Court Department, where he developed practical knowledge and organisational skills that continue to support his work with the Litigation team.
Since September 2026, Russell has supported the Court team on tenancy queries and housing disputes. His work includes assisting with advice on Registered Social Landlord eviction grounds, Notices of Proceedings, Short Scottish Secure Tenancies, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders, succession and property condition matters.
Outside work, Russell enjoys staying active by playing football, going to the gym and reading.
