Bio
Zak Williamson is a Trainee Solicitor at TC Young, based within the Commercial Property Department in the firm’s Glasgow office.
Zak graduated with Distinction from the Accelerated Scots Law LLB in 2025 and subsequently completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow in 2026.
Prior to commencing his traineeship, Zak gained valuable experience through a number of legal placements with firms across Glasgow, developing expertise in areas including property law and litigation. Zak has also worked within TC Young’s Glasgow Property Team as an Administrative Assistant, providing him with a strong foundation to build on before progressing into his current role.
As a Trainee Solicitor, Zak is involved in a broad range of commercial property matters, assisting with property acquisitions, preparing and reviewing legal documentation, and assisting clients. He works closely on matters involving Registered Social Landlords, as well as more complex title investigations and leasing transactions. His attention to detail and proactive approach to work allow him to contribute effectively to challenging and high-value property matters.
Outside of work, Zak enjoys staying active by going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
